Express Entry PR

Express Entry is a electronic process involving the federal government, provincial governments, and Canadian employers. Express Entry is not a new immigration program; it is a new way for Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) to manage economic immigration applications online via different programs.

  • Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP);
  • Federal Skilled Trades Program (FSTP);
  • Canadian Experience Class (CEC); and,

A portion of the Provincial Nominee Programs (PNP). How Express Entry works Express Entry is an online system that the authorities use to manage applications for permanent residence from skilled workers, in other words people who have multiple educational degrees and high levels of education.

Step 1: Find out if you’re eligible There are two ways to find out if you’re eligible for a program that is part of Express Entry:

  • Answer a few questions that we ask you to see if you meet the minimum requirements
  • Read the detailed requirements for each program or we could just take you through it quickly

Step 2: Get your documents ready

  • You need documents, such as language test results, to show that you’re eligible for Express Entry. Some documents take a long time to get, so you should get them ready now.
